Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Feb 2026: Every Game Announced

I woke up at 9 AM on a Thursday to watch 30 minutes of game trailers. No regrets. Nintendo dropped its latest Partner Showcase this morning, and while the internet is already arguing about whether it was a 10/10 or a 1/10 (classic), there’s no denying the Switch 2 lineup is getting stacked.

Here’s everything that got announced, what actually matters, and what I’m keeping my eye on.

The Elder Scrolls continues to make its rounds

Bethesda Came to Play

Todd Howard himself showed up on screen. That alone tells you Bethesda is going all-in on Switch 2. They didn’t bring one game. They brought three.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition hits Switch 2 on February 24. That’s less than three weeks from now. You get the base game, all six expansions, and over 150 Creation Club items. The visuals looked a little rough compared to other platforms (no surprise there), but Fallout 4 in handheld mode is a dangerous proposition for anyone with a commute.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle lands on May 12. This one actually looked solid in the trailer. The game was a hit on other platforms, and if MachineGames nailed the port, this could be one of the best third-party experiences on Switch 2 by summer.

And the surprise of the bunch? The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is coming to Switch 2 sometime in 2026. No specific date yet, but just the fact that a fully remastered Oblivion is running on a handheld is pretty wild. The Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions are included.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Finally Has a Date

June 3. Mark your calendars. The second chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy is coming to Switch 2, and if you’ve been holding off on playing it because you wanted the portable option, your patience is about to pay off. The trailer showed off chocobo riding, buddy combat, and the boost function for anyone who just wants to enjoy the story without getting stuck on combat. Smart move for the casual crowd.

Resident Evil Requiem Keeps Looking Intense

Capcom showed more footage of Resident Evil Requiem, and this one is shaping up to be something special. You play as both Grace Ashcroft (an FBI analyst who gets captured by the suspect she’s investigating) and Leon S. Kennedy (because, of course, Leon shows up). The twist? You can swap between third-person and first-person at any time.

February 27 is the launch date. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village drop the same day. That’s three RE games in one shot. Capcom is also releasing amiibo figures of Grace and Leon this summer, which is both adorable and slightly terrifying.

Hollow Knight Switch 2 Edition

Shadow Drops and Demos Hit Today

A few things you can go download right now:

Hollow Knight: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition shadow-dropped today. Enhanced visuals, better frame rates, and if you already own the original on Switch, you can upgrade for free. If you haven’t played Hollow Knight yet, this is the version to grab.

Super Bomberman Collection is also available today on both Switch 2 and Switch. Seven titles, twelve versions, including Super Bomberman 4 and 5 localized for the first time outside Japan. There’s a new Boss Rush mode and GameShare support.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection got a demo available today with save data transfer to the full game. The full release hits March 13.

Pragmata (that Capcom space game with the hacking mechanic) also has a demo available today, ahead of its April 24 launch on Switch 2.

Valheim comes to Switch!

The Rest of the Lineup

Here’s what else showed up during the 30-minute showcase:

Tokyo Scramble is a stealth-survival game set underground beneath Tokyo, where dinosaur-like creatures called Zeno stalk you through the dark. Up to four players can share controls via GameShare. It’s a Switch 2 exclusive launching February 11. That’s next week.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is an HD-2D action RPG from Square Enix where you travel through four different historical ages. June 18 on Switch 2.

Orbitals kicked off the whole showcase with its anime-inspired co-op puzzle adventure. Two players, three tools, lots of teamwork. Switch 2 exclusive this summer.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse is the sequel to the cult-favorite mystery visual novel. Coming to Switch on February 19.

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters brings anime soccer to Switch later this year with over 110 characters and 22 teams.

Valheim is finally coming to Switch 2 in 2026 with 10-player online multiplayer. Viking survival on the go.

eFootball Kickoff (the reborn Pro Evolution Soccer) hits Switch 2 this summer.

Turok Origins is a brand new entry in the Turok franchise. First-person and third-person combat, DNA extraction from enemies, and online co-op. Fall 2026 on Switch 2.

Kyoto Xanadu from Nihon Falcom mixes 2D and 3D action RPG gameplay set in an alternate Japan. Coming to both Switch and Switch 2 this summer.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger brings 450+ Digimon to collect and a time-travel storyline. July 10 on both Switch and Switch 2, with 4K/30fps or 1080p/60fps options on Switch 2.

Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok arrives July 9 on Switch 2 with local and online multiplayer.

Nintendo also announced Arcade Archives 2 (starting with Rave Racer) and a new Console Archives series featuring Cool Boarders and Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, both available today.

What Was Missing

No Elden Ring. No Duskbloods. No Professor Layton. Those were the three games a lot of people were hoping for, and none of them showed up. The internet predictably lost it. That said, the Bethesda triple-header and the FF7 Rebirth date are genuinely big deals, and the shadow drops give you something to play tonight.

The Bottom Line for Average Gamers

If you’ve got a Switch 2, your wallet is about to take some hits. Fallout 4 in less than three weeks, Resident Evil Requiem right behind it, Monster Hunter Stories 3 in March, Pragmata in April, Indiana Jones in May, and FF7 Rebirth in June. That’s a game a month through the first half of the year, and that’s before we even get to Oblivion Remastered and the fall lineup.

For folks still on the original Switch, you’re getting Paranormasight, Captain Tsubasa 2, Bomberman Collection, and a few cross-platform titles. Not the biggest haul, but the Switch is 9 years old at this point. The torch is being passed.

My personal pick? I’m most excited for FF7 Rebirth and Indiana Jones. But honestly, Hollow Knight for free tonight is the real MVP move.
