Welcome to Two Average Gamers (“TAG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of twoaveragegamers.com and our related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service and that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

To access some features (forums, groups, comments, achievements), you need to create a free account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Keep your password secure and confidential
Be responsible for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

3. Community Conduct

TAG is a non-toxic space for gamers. By using the Service, you agree not to:

Post content that is hateful, harassing, discriminatory, threatening, or targeted at any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
Bully, dox, or intimidate other users
Post sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
Spam the forums, comments, or messaging features
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
Post content that infringes any intellectual property rights
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools on the Service without our written permission
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems
Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code of any kind
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control feature

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you post (forum posts, comments, group content, reviews, profile information , “User Content”). However, by posting User Content to the Service, you grant TAG a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display that User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

You own or have the rights to post your User Content
Your User Content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law
Your User Content does not infringe any third party’s rights

We do not pre-screen User Content and are not responsible for it, but we reserve the right to remove any User Content at any time for any reason.

5. Our Intellectual Property

All content we produce , articles, reviews, guides, images, logos, designs, and the TAG name and branding , is owned by or licensed to TAG and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may share and quote our content with proper attribution, but you may not republish full articles, reproduce our branding, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

6. Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

Some articles contain affiliate links (primarily to Amazon). When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Affiliate links do not influence our editorial opinions , reviews are independent.

We will always clearly label any sponsored content or partnership posts.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may link to third-party websites (game stores, streaming platforms, social media, tool vendors) and may integrate third-party services (Mailchimp, Discord, Amazon, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Stripe-adjacent tools, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third parties. Your interactions with them are at your own risk and governed by their respective terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Gamification System

TAG includes a gamification system , points, ranks, badges, quests, and a leaderboard. These are for community engagement only. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed, and can be adjusted or reset at our discretion (including in cases of abuse, bugs, or account termination).

10. Newsletter & Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll receive emails from us (typically weekly or less). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We’ll also send transactional emails (account notifications, security alerts) regardless of newsletter status. We will not sell or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings or by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TAG, ITS FOUNDERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TAG and its founders, employees, and contractors from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced via a notice on the site or email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
