Fallout 76 Players Enlist Newly-Transformed Ghoul Players for Radioactive Ore Mining

Source: PC Gamer – March 19, 2025

The Ghoul Update for Fallout 76 came into effect last night. With this update, players who are level 50 or above can now transform into a radiation-loving ghoul. This transformation proffers new advantages such as the elimination of the need for food or drink, a rage buff when consuming large amounts of radiation, and even health regeneration from radiation exposure, making the transformed players ideal survivors in the wasteland. Although not all players have opted for this transformation, as there are valid reasons to remain human, such as maintaining alliances with the Brotherhood or utilizing the bloodied build, many human players are leveraging the unique capabilities of their transformed counterparts.

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows PC Performance Analysis – A Closer Look at Ray Tracing, Upscaling, and Frame Generation

Source: PC Gamer – March 18, 2025

Ubisoft has finally answered the years-long demand from fans to set a major game in historical Japan with the release of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Initially slated for a November release, the game was delayed twice – first to January, then to March – to accommodate improvements following the performance of Star Wars: Outlaws and to implement additional changes. This is the first major game in the series not to be ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, being exclusively designed for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Although included in the mix, the PC version still bears a strong console influence despite incorporating the latest PC rendering technologies like upscaling, frame generation, and ray tracing.

Maximizing Coziness with Fallout 4 Mods

Source: Polygon – March 19, 2025

When you search for “cozy” in the Fallout 4 section of Nexus Mods, the results might not be what you’d expect. According to modders, elements such as a custom bedroom displaying an American flag, a feature termed as “visible rain,” and a sweater model with exaggerated proportions, all count as cozy. It’s well understood that the nuclear post-apocalypse setting of Fallout 4 is far from relaxing, but the purpose of mods is to break free from the limitations of the original game design and allow players to customize their experiences. If desired, players should have the ability to transform the entire game into a Stardew Valley-like idyllic setting. While these types of mods do exist, understanding the myriad of dependencies and versions required for installation can be as complex as achieving a Ph.D.

One of the irksome aspects of surfing the modern Internet is the constant need to prove you’re human, often by selecting images of traffic lights and bicycles. This nuisance has amplified upon realizing that tools like CAPTCHA, rather than being effective deterrents against online bots, have been criticized as “profit-driven tracking cookie farms disguised as security services.” Hence, with skepticism, I discovered Razer’s partnership with blockchain-based verification system, World, to develop what is essentially a gaming CAPTCHA.
