GG App Review: The Only Game Tracker With a Mobile App. Is It Worth It?

I just finished a boss fight. I want to log it before I forget how I feel about the game. Backloggd means getting up and opening a browser. GG means reaching for the phone already sitting next to me. That’s the entire reason I tried it, and after three months it’s still the only reason I’d recommend it. The Quick Take GG is the most convenient game tracker by a wide margin. The app is quick, clean, and the only real one in this category. Then it charges $4.99 a month to duplicate one of your own lists, which is hard to swallow when its main competitor gives away everything for free. Worth installing. Hard to justify paying for. What GG Does Well The App Is Actually Good Native apps on iPhone and Android, both real, both maintained. That sounds like a low bar until you notice nobody else clears it. Backloggd is web only. HowLongToBeat has no official app either. GG is alone here. Adding a game takes about ten seconds. Search, tap, pick a status, done. I logged more sessions in my first two weeks with GG than in two months with Backloggd, and my opinion of the two products has nothing to do with it. The phone was already in my hand.
