The Actual Numbers (So You Can Stop Feeling Bad) We pulled Steam’s public completion data for 19 major single-player releases. The findings were clarifying. The median game in the set was completed by 36% of players who bought it. That means 64% of owners , nearly two out of three people , never reached the ending of a game they paid for and, presumably, wanted to play.
