We don’t take money to write positive reviews. Nobody pays us to recommend a game, a headset, or a handheld. If it’s on our site, we put it there because we actually think it’s worth your time and money.

How We Choose What to Recommend

• We buy our own games. We don’t take review copies in exchange for coverage. Our opinions are ours.
• We test what we recommend. If we’re telling you a headset or handheld is good, we’ve either used it ourselves or done genuine research , including the negative reviews.
• Rankings are editorial, not paid. A brand paying us does not move them up any list.
• We disclose everything. Every article with affiliate links displays a banner at the top.

What’s NOT Affiliate Content

News coverage, game reviews, opinion pieces, and the vast majority of our editorial content contains no affiliate links. Affiliate links are concentrated in buyer’s guides and product roundups where readers are actively looking for purchase recommendations.

Display Ads

We also display ads on our site through Mediavine. These are programmatic display ads , we don’t choose which ads appear, and advertisers have no influence over our editorial content. Ads support the site so we can keep our content free and never behind a paywall.
